Pyrate

Pyrate est né en 1982 dans le sud de la France, où il vit et travaille encore aujourd’hui, à côté d’Uzès dans le Gard. Imprégné de peinture via son père artiste, il se passionne dès l’enfance pour le dessin et découvre, à la fin des années 1990 et dans les rues de sa ville, le plaisir du graffiti, sous l’influence des pionniers qui agissent alors dans la région.

Pyrate vous propose un travail personnel regroupant toutes les facettes de sa personnalité artistique façonnée par une grande palette d’influences et des années de coups de bombe. Un mariage à trois unissant énergie de la lettre, rayonnement des couleurs à la sensibilité du visage.

Pyrate was born in 1982 in the south of France, where he still lives and works today, near Uzès in the Gard region. Immersed in painting via his artist father, he developed a passion for drawing from an early age, and in the late 1990s discovered the pleasures of graffiti on the streets of his home town, under the influence of the pioneers who were active in the region at the time.

yrate’s personal work brings together all the facets of his artistic personality, shaped by a wide range of influences and years of spray-painting. A marriage of three, combining the energy of the letter, the radiance of the colors and the sensitivity of the face.
